just read in my newspaper a group of 4 and 5 year olds beat a puppy near to death, a guy scared them off the puppys ok but mite loose its leg, what i want to know is what is a group of 4 and 5 year olds doing on there own and where do you get that from at that age..its sad..cant even imagine what they will be like at 14 and 15

Thats the way the world seems to be goin.More and more violent everyday.I've had 10 year olds tell me they were gonna beat me up when i used to work in security.One kid used to try it on with me every day and his mother would just laugh at him.Used to say to me,ya can't do anything cause your not my father.so i put the $hit up em and told him i was gonna drag him in the back ad kick the **** outta him(lost it after a few weeks of it and the mother doin nothin about it)Scared him though and he never tried it on again.Don't know about the rest but the parent was definatley to blame for this one,she just didn't give a rats a$$ and let him do whatever he wanted

Most TV cartoons now are very violent
 ....kids are mean and disrespectful in this day and age....it all goes back to the home and the parents....that is very sad...

Comeing home from work one day a little boy maby 4 yrs had a stick pointed at me and said he was going to rob me. I don't think he was kidding yeh kk its def the parents fault for sure..i worked in retail use to do the windows and this little girl about 5 kept going into the window and messing..i knelt down and asked her to stop nicely and she scratched my face..the mother just looked on smiled and said she was the c*ck of the street..ie boss of the street, mother was so proud of her ..i just looked at her like she was mad

I agree with everyone on this one. Kids are more and more disrespectful now than we were at that age.....I mean, how many us would have gotten our butts beat for even talkin back? God knows I sure did. I have a neice that's extremely disrespectful of my stepmom. The neice is always making fat jokes when she's here and always says that the house smells like old people, and all my stepsister does is laugh and sometimes even joins in.
Makes me glad that my daughter is respectful, well mannered and well behaved. |

its true kids have no respect..my friend was telling me about a boy whos 10 a member of her family who was throwing a ball in another family members house..the mum just patted him on the arm and said please stop that sweety..after the grandad had repeatedly told him to stop, my friend said to him if you had been in my house you would have got a smacked bum for that..no respect for anyone or anything

I really hope that I can teach my son respect and values and morals. He learns so much from other children, it scares me.

this is horrible, but I am almost certain they are either imitating something they have seen, experienced, lived thru or seen on television.
This behaviour I dont think it's normal.

wow...from a few books i have read....that is one sign of a serial killer...starting out with cruelity to animals...i guess the next is a dysfunctional relationship with mother...but for kids that young...its scarry...

I belive behaviour like that is the parent's fault though serial killers are no one's fault they are an abberation. I work in a busy public place and there are still a lot of really decent kids out there .

i agree, but young parents (myself NOT included) are afraid to spank a child because of social services.........but in the state of south carolina........from a child's hips to their knees, you can beat them all you want, just don't draw blood... |

I agree.. spare the rod spoil the child.. they HAVE to be TAUGHT limits and boundaries.. and not in jail either.  anyone who gives you that crap about it being good by letting their child set their own boundaries or using the excuse "their just a child" is an idiot, YES IDIOT!!! I mean are you seriously tring to bring the downfall of American society? and if i hear another person say" i just dont know where I went wrong" Pull your head out of you azz and open your eyes!!
