Hadrian, if you like the girl, find out something she likes and ask her to tell you about it. Pretend that she's just another person you want to be friends with and start simple. It's okay to be a little shy, but being too shy won't get you anywhere. You can keep her up on a pedestal if you want, but you need to be able to find something to relate to her with so you can find a way to connect.
