Vanessa, I never once told you your religioni was wrong. I never once told ANYONE their religion was wrong. What I said was...it was a joke...HIS OPINION. You spout that everyone has an opinion, and you want yours respected. THEN RESPECT OTHERS ALSO. Personally I do not disagree with the fact that Jesus, was real, I just don't believe some of the stories about him. My brother is studying to be a Catholic preist, I think what he is doing is wonderful, he is devoting himself to that which he loves. I have studied theology for YEARS, I am clergy for my faith....don't believe me, email me and I'll give you my real name and you can check it out on the Secretary of State's web site for Ohio. I understand your devotion to your faith, and do not belittle you for it in the slightest.... My only complaint was that you belittle others for their beliefs. Would your God be happy with that....Mine wouldn't... It's not how you worship, just that you do. With that said...this discussion belongs in the religion section...and not in the thread entitled "Which fictitious character...." That was really my only beef with you. for one thing...threads take on a life of their own... i have often seen topics go from one thing to another.... for another thing... i have not belittled anyone for their faith or lack of it... show me where you feel that i have done this !!! prove it and if i have i will apologize it is really hard for a lot of people to just say three words and mean them..... try it sometimes..." i am sorry "  it is not much and it goes a long way...  who was the one who told me not to get my panties in a twist???  you did...  was that kind or respectful??? it was not....  and i am old enough  to be your mother.... by the way.... well at least you didnt bother me with one of your tedious emails...thank you. your welcome ... hahahahahaha... tedious????.... that's a good word... i would choose other words though to describe my communication skills but that is not one of them , and there are many others who agree.... more like intelligent, wise, detail oriented, perceptive loving & kind for the most part ... even to those who not so lovable.... |
