must be nice..not here where i live..no waynoway laugh

Come up and visit me. You can leave it unlocked any time in this town, the police station is only 2 blocks away anyhow. And you can walk to stores, restaurants, watch the parades from the front porch.... and everything Amish is only a 10 or 15 minute drive. Of course the beach is a little farther.

My sliding window was broken in the apartment and I was not aware. I had just moved in after. I spent all the money I had, to furnish this apartment. I applied for renters insurance on a Friday. Locked the door and went to away for the week end and came back. Theives came in cleaned the place. $12000 worth of stuff went and I was not covered for a dime. Ultimately my fault.

I leave it unloacked all the time. You have to get through the guards at the front gate first.

I live directly across from the police station. I have left it unlocked quite a few times.

It's OK Deb, I did not find the humor in that either. But then again I am only on my second cup of coffee.

I usually lock it, having grown up in a big city (Montreal) by force of habit, but have left it unlocked for short trips to the store and so on, where I live now. I live in what a recent poll says is one of the top 10 safest cities in America, you can't throw a stone around here without hitting a cop car, and there are no Projects or places like them. Heck, there are only a very few high rise apartments, and most of them are either condo's or high end places.
