Thank You Fran, although I would not say I am for womens rights when you look at it as women verse men verse black verse asian. I am for Human Rights, and Rights of a citizen (who are all human).
And as you said, Clinton is not the right person for the job.

Hillary still needs to win a majority of superdelegates and she's a long way from that.

I know there's more issues with the country..
But we can not elect someone who cant be trusted.
The "terrorists" said they were going to destroy
us from the inside out and we'd never know it.
Obama is the horse they're riding. Our country
is so quickly turning Fascist. Before you know it,
we'll have cameras up our asses to watch what
we're doing.

There are more issues than that going on with the country.

He won't take office with his hand over the Bible.

So what?!

This Country was founded on the basis of freedom of religion. How the hell can you stand their and state that a president hopeful has to swear against the Holy Christian Bible? Or that he can NOT swear against another religion?
If you want your freedoms, you have to allow everyone else theirs as well.

Religion is not the point hear. Its the fact that he has been cought on camera disrespecting our national anthem and pledge of alliegence. Two things that should come first to a presidential canadate.

It is not disrespect to choose not to put his hand on his heart. It is not disrespect to choose not to say a specific set of words.

It had been made illegal to force children to HAVE to repeat the pledge of allegiance, or to place their hands over their hearts for the pledge, so how can you demand that our president do what our children can not be forced to do?

This all leads back to one major issue I have with the majority of people I have met in the last fifteen years. They are all self-centered egotistics. They want everything to be done their way and no other way. They want to be able to dictate their opinions and have them (their opinions) accepted as fact or law.

What people need to do (as a whole; I am not nameing anyone specific) is learn to shut their mouths and open their ears. They need to learn that if they have the legal right for something (like not being made to recite a poem or something) then so does everyone else in the United States. And beyond everything else, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, that does not mean they are entitled to speak it if it is condemning or satirizing another individual.
Everyone is entitled to their choice, but they are NOT entitled to force their beliefs or their choices on other people.

Keep in mind also, dictating that a president hopeful shouls be voted down for not saying the NAtional Anthem, is damn near identical to Hitlers condemnation to those who would not salute him upon site.

What has become of this country. Now people need to take loyalty pledges to run for office.

TITLE 36 > Subtitle I > Part A > CHAPTER 3 > § 301Prev | Next § 301. National anthem
(a) Designation.— The composition consisting of the words and music known as the Star-Spangled Banner is the national anthem.
(b) Conduct During Playing.— During a rendition of the national anthem—
(1) when the flag is displayed—
(A) all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart;
(B) men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold the headdress at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart; and
(C) individuals in uniform should give the military salute at the first note of the anthem and maintain that position until the last note; and
(2) when the flag is not displayed, all present should face toward the music and act in the same manner they would if the flag were displayed.

Its not so much the pledge that was the disrespect, If they want to play the seperation of church and state and throw a fit becouse of one word thats there problem, it was his conduct during the national anthem that he has shown on more than one ocasion. As you can plainly read above section 36 of the U.S. legal code states the spacific conduct for the playing of the national anthem. This conduct is taught to even the smallest children and anyone that is hoping to be president should at least have the common curtisy to respect not only the legal code of the country he wants to lead but the national anthem of that country as well.

The key word here is SHOULD. Nowhere in there does it say you MUST do these things.

And if he were to "honor" the suggested behavior, then he would be a hypocite, not following his own beliefs. I would not once, ever choose a hypocrite if I could avoid it in any way whatsoever.
