since day one of my cousin having her baby, she said on and off for years she wishes she didnt have her, and it was the biggest mistake of her life not aborting her. She said she would have aborted her, if the abortion was free, but because she had 3 abortions previous the health service makes you pay for any more abortions after 3.

this used to upset me, and make me so mad, because she said things like this in front of her daughter.

does anyone else think having kids ruined there life??

I had my first son at 17 years of age in high school. Learned how to become responsible real fast! In no way did he ruin my life nor did my other three.

If someone does not want to have children use birth control! It's not the child's fault nor should a child ever need to feel unwanted. Children are a blessing from the Lord!

i did have words with this women, i even offered to have her child for her. believe me i told her, but she always carried on saying the same thing. i dont speak to my cousin anymore.

I'm sure lots of people feel that way, I know my mom did. But for me, my son is the best thing that ever happened to me. And no matter how awful he behaves sometimes, I wouldn't trade it for anything I could ever imagine.

My son wasnt planned...and if circumstances had been otherwise I may have ended up childless my whole life...HOWEVER, when my boy was little he asked me if he was an "accident", I told him he wasnt an accident, he was a surprise, and a wonderful one at that.

No child should be made to feel unwanted..whatever your cousins feelings shed doing irreperable damage to that childs sense of self and self-esteem and needs to be told to stop saying such hurtful things...

Regardless to how she feels victimized by her own actions, she should not be putting that out there in front of the child. The child did not ask to be here so it not her fault she was born. I would tell your sister that too without any qualms about it. Of course I am blunt and honest like that so maybe you cannot be that blunt.

My son was planned but not planned very well. I have struggled being a single parent to this point and continue to struggle.

I had an ex-boyfriend say to me periodically.... you know you wish you would have never gotten pregnant that you would change everything (believe me that jerk is gone). I would tell him no.

I could not imagine my life with my son. I would never want to change anything surrounding the birth of my son.

I am not one for government involvement in women's choices in reproductive health. However, I feel that if you are having multiple abortions, maybe its time to offer a tubal ligation.

I feel that if you have a child there was a reason for it...no matter the age...if you don't want anymore then learn what caused it and fix it...as for saying harsh things in front of your child is just wrong. If they don't want the child put it up for adoption. There is too many people out here that want children that can't have them for health reasons...they will love them unconditionally....I have 1 son and that was enough for me...

yes she would say these things in front of her. i would go and pick her up and take her upstairs until her mom calmed down, i did my best to remove her from the situation, but i wasnt there 24/7
