Gently smile while maintaining eye contact. Lift you glass to your lips and at the last possible second, tip your glass towards her in salute. Watch for her reaction. If she immediately turns away, then you have more work to do. If she licks her lips or starts to play a little with her hair, then she is probably interested and a slow walk over to introduce yourself is most likely in order. This is were I usually trip over someone's outstretched foot and fall flat on my face because I'm trying to maintain eye contact and not watching where I'm going.

a simple smile usually works, unless they stare back at me with big, crazy looking eyes, then I make a run for my friends or security....
