As someone who has never used or witnessed pepper spray, i have a question.... How can it hit 10 people? I thought it was a liquid stream? It is a liquid stream, but it is still an areosol delivery. It spreads in the air microscopically, just like a sneeze. Makes sense? That and apparently, my friends who were close enough to see what happened and did get hit but only on their skin, said she chased him with it. It lingers in the air for awhile too. |

Boy,Sorry to hear that.If I had someone do that in a bar.I would of kicked her a$$ so bad.They would of had.Never mind.  Hope your okay.......... When you get hit with peper spray, you are rendered a bit defenseless.... There were about 5 people total in the hospital last night from this girl. Including the guy, and I'm pretty sure they kept him overnight. Sorry,Left out seen that happen to someone.I hear it does not work on some people.If they are insane. If i saw that happen.Insane would be the word for me.

Hi Rapunzel: You're still stuck in the 60s and we're all okay with it. Hi there bud.... you barely know me, there Sweetheart and i am not stuck in the 60's at all... everyone has the tendency to think their generation was the best... i have a lot of pride for the people and music and philosophy of my generation, and i am happy that i was and still am a part of that outlook... it is sad to see how things have gone in many ways, because so many people of my generation sold out... to an easier, cushier, selfish self centered very materialistic, keeping up with the jones mentality ... but not all of us did.... not me...for instance... and i know many of us didn't And we still have an amazing impact on this world... and i see alot of wisdom in many many of the young people these days and some who just would rather party , and not do anything much with their lives at all, too and that is extremely sad sad to see... and what you don't know of me... too by the way... I've got kids who were born in the late 70's so. and I'm familiar with their whole scene my son in law just so happens to be a famous heavy metal guitarist and international recording artist and my grandchildren are growing up with a whole new set of experiences... my life continues...  and i try to have a positive effect on people a person's existence should be full of learning everyday  my life & seed lives on in my children & children's children and so on... i am forever growing and expanding .. please understand that   i am not "stuck" in anything  |

I thought it was a liquid stream? *MOSTLY* you find stuff in the stream, but it does 'overspray'from the pressure, and that stuff 'bounces' everywhere. Some of the dispenser are better at keeping a stream, others don't care. The 'overspray' problem is why some manufactures use a foam delivery. Spray in the eyes and forehead, and body heat alone will 'melt' it down your face. Mace - got used to it at one time, and basically, it irritated me. CS (military riot control) same thing, just more irritating. Drug store pepper spray - was really really annoying, and I didn't enjoy it. Foam and high concentration sprays (10% and greater) Oh my FRIGGIN god...I couldn't get my face in water fast enough. Geezzuss..that stuff was obnoxiously effective. So - if you feel you MUST use pepper spray - do yourself a favor - get foamy stuff. If you use it and get it blown back at you - you are NOT going very far. Definitely file the charges. That sort of thing could likely kill someone with a breathing problem! |
