So, is it ok to think about and maybe date someone 13-14 years younger than you? He is only 5 years older than my oldest daughter. My middle daughter thinks I am robbing the cradle. What do you think?

I think you go with "what" you feel is right for YOU.. It's not for anyone else to judge you or tell you what you should do.. It's your life.. You get one to live.. Live it to the best of your abilities... As long as you're not hurting anyone else you have nothing to be concerned about...

If it's legal, do it.

It seems to be ok for men to do it so why not the women?

I think if you are both comfortable with it, go for it. As long as they're over 18, I don't think Chris Hanson is going to be popping out anywhere. laugh

I suppose it depends upon how important it is to you that your children approve.

You do whatever makes you happy. It's your life, live it like you want to.

I live with a man and I am just 2 years older than his oldest child.

flowerforyou Be happy.

There are some people that believe an older woman shouldn't be dating a man that much younger. I have always liked younger men (hence my ex is 7 years younger). This was just a little younger than I normally get interested in. Was just curious what the general population thought. He lives in another state and picked me on the mutual match thing. Made me feel good, bigsmile !!!! Does a lot for one's ego, when you haven't dated in over a year.
Thanks for all the input everyone!!!

If I were dating, I'd date who I liked, and not his age. flowerforyou

just a date or little fling is fine, but long term does not normally work out real well.
