hun it really doesnt matter what other people believe....you cant live your life based on someone elses expectations or thoughts!!!!Do what makes you happy ...in the end that is all that truly matters sweetie!!!!

I have always like older women myself , age is not an issue if you really like them...provided they are of legal age. Go for it Girl!!! what ever makes you happy,who cares about the rest.

The point is, a number is a number. A person is -- or should be -- more than a set of statistical data. If you truly care for someone, the numbers shouldn't matter. |

So, is it ok to think about and maybe date someone 13-14 years younger than you? He is only 5 years older than my oldest daughter. My middle daughter thinks I am robbing the cradle. What do you think? .....my new man is almost that much younger than me...my 15yr olds dad was 13 1/2 yrs younger...so my children have been used to it most of their lives.....I have briefly dated once or twice guys a year younger than my 30 yr old son...but then he had a baby at 16 and she was 17 and made me a very young grandma...so we have a very unconventional family....we like it that way...... |

There are some people that believe an older woman shouldn't be dating a man that much younger. I have always liked younger men (hence my ex is 7 years younger). This was just a little younger than I normally get interested in. Was just curious what the general population thought. He lives in another state and picked me on the mutual match thing. Made me feel good,  !!!! Does a lot for one's ego, when you haven't dated in over a year. Thanks for all the input everyone!!! Since you haven't dated in over a year I would say date him...Is he willing to come out your direction?....If so, you could meet him in a public place to see if he is who he portrays himself to be....and then if you get along well & feel the chemistry....Who Knows, butterflies are nice to have in the garden
