Have you ever noticed the more feelings are involved the more confusion and misunderstandings happen in a blossoming relationship?

Confusion

She feels butterflies and giddy
unable to make a sentence, just giggly
or talks too much so he cannot speak
feeling too moved, and slightly weak

He feels the rush and gets quiet
his insides are all in a riot
he tries to keep control
if others see, heads will roll

She takes his reaction as cold
starts her self talking scold
she is not good enough for him
too fat, too ugly or maybe too trim

He takes her reaction as rejection
scowls at himself in dejection
He moves away to minimize the pain
there will be no kissing in the rain

In the future maybe something will resolve
like control of themselves may evolve
or friends may intervene
depending on what they seen

The rush of feelings
taking us to the ceiling
causes much heartache and pain
before the heart and soul can reign
