butter cookies - they're like sugar cookies but tastier. YUM!!! If anyone has a recipe, pass it along, please. I don't have the receipe in front of me, but butter cookies as I recall are: 2 sticks real butter softened 3/4 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1 1/2 cups flour. Rollout thin, cut with glass dipped in flour bake at 350 for 7-9 minutes, cover with icing (cream cheese is good, butter sugar is better) I also made these camping, you can cook them over an open fire, flip 'em like pancakes takes about 10 minutes. |

Those peanut butter cornflake ones are good!!
Grandma used to make orange peel cookies, very good. Orange slice cookies aren't bad either. If you want to go decadent, find an actual candy store and see if they have Victorians, I have no idea whats in them (besides evaporated milk) but they are as rich as anything I've ever tasted. I also make an excellent triple chip cookie. Yummy!!! I might have to go do that now. |
