When I was young our family would go to church and afterwards go home eat, change clothes, pack up some food and go riding in the country...... it was such a fun time.
There would be times we would stop and pick strawberries, and blueberriess and you did not have to pay for them. Dad and Mom knew the history of everyone's farm and family because all of our families farmed, helped and raised their kids together.... Those days are long gone now, but did your family have things you did every Sunday or weekends? What were they? |

we used to go to chruch, stop off at a family resterant for lunch. come home. and dad would turn the power off to all rooms but the kitchen and we would play board games and talk till dinner

I come from a big Brooklyn, NY Italian family and every Sunday we would all gather at my grandmother's house for dinner. It was always a blast playing my all my cousins.

I grew up in a Baptist/Catholic household...no wonder I'm not christian.....
Sunday dinner was always good though. I was so glad when I was 16, had my own car and a job, I ALWAYS worked sunday morning by request. |
