Which do you perfer to be?

I used to think knowledge was power. Now I am thinking I wish I were oblivious to things.

I just ate ice cream (thanks to Tina's desert thread) and I know the consequences of it.

Last night I found out something about a girl that I really admired and it has changed my concept of her.

I also found out that someone I barely know stuck up for me today. Which made me think more of that person.

So I wonder which is better?

Better to know the truth. I don't believe that ignorance is bliss....

Some say ignorance is bliss, but it is my curse to have never been ignorant. Therefore, I cannot speak for that segment of the population.

Knowledge is power!! It is how you use the knowledge which will determine a good or bad outcome.

I vote for oblivion... knowledge may be power, but too much can ruin a good thing! Sometimes I just wish I had the innocence of a child again...

I want to know everything, all the time. Unless it has to do with my ex-wife, in which case I'd rather not think or know anything at all....

And if you could not avoid knowing them? What do you do? We cannot wish unpleasantness out of existence.
