I know this probably should be under religion but what the heck I'm
always backwards so here goes.......

What exactly is your view of God? I s he tolerant,kind, compassionate?
Or is God this big giant of a man waiting for us to screw up so he can
say Go to hell you little insolant bastard? I was raised with the latter
view and it scarred me for a long time I've learned as i grew up he is
more of the former than the latter just was curious as to you all's
opinion.

I have learned that there are far too many who preach the fire and
brimstone frighten the people into blind obedience types. Probably why I
completely left christianity 30 + years ago.

Well I was raised by my grandmother that read the Bible ever day of her
life yes she quoted from the good book. No never did she shove it down
our throats she taught us God was good , compassionate, kind and loved
all man kind. We were taught that if you could not say something good to
some one then do not say anything at all. We were also taught that you
could believe in God in your own home as well as in a church. And not to
ever turn your back on others just because they do not believe as you
do. Each person have there own faith and beliefs and who are we to say
which one is right. For to them there way is right. So one should try to
understand anothers beliefs instead of down them.

interpitations and views i'm just curious as to everybodies view. I have
mine right or wrong i have it.

my view of God is the kind compassionate man...My Father who carries me
through the tuff stuff. It makes me stronger when I go through a

no. we all got screwed in in the interpretation. If your asking me then
the Good Lords got His Hands on You.

I agree Taz that is my view now. My parents have changed from what we
were raised with thank God but it screwed me up as a young person and
still some things are scewed but hey thats part of growing

Just remember God loves you...His word is his bond...Read it til he
brings it to true lite for you.
