this deck sounds like it needs a long hard look at..but im sure with a little play around and a lick or two of paint it will it will perform just as well as your neighbours ;larger deck

I mean some fresh landscaping can do wonders for the look of a deck, and like you said before Debbie, a lick or two of paint. Trim the hedges, I think I could have his deck in good shape in no time. |

If you are grilling, only serve finger foods,like the little cocktail wieners. Keep all accessories small to make your deck look larger by comparison. Build a privacy fence between your deck & your nieghbors,so she isn't tempted by his larger deck. If your deck is really too , maybe your nieghbor will let you use his sometime!
