How big is your deck right now? How big of deck do you want? Is your deck bigger than anyone else's deck? Maybe if you stretch your deck out it will be bigger.

laugh Thanks Deb I never really paid attention to it before. I've had it for years but after my wife left I started noticing and now the size of my deck has me really really self conscious about it.

Well depending on the size of the deck there are also other factors involved.

The width of the deck, the all around versatility of the deck, the ability to use the deck all year around, and not just on special occasions, the protection you use on your deck, the durability of the deck.

I might suggest if your neighbors deck is much nicer than your deck, that you have adjoining decks, then when you have ladies back to your house, they could enjoy both of the decks.

I just thought of something else too, your neighbor should not be showing off his deck to your lady friends, bad form:wink: laugh

Maybe if you brought them for a tour around the rest of the house first and didn't rush them straight to the deck.Work up to the decking slowly and then enjoy the sunsetlaugh laugh laugh

You wouldn't have to butt it up to the other deck, just maybe a small walk way to enjoy both decks.
