I think you all just never heard slayer cuz if you had , well, like i said, itd be a no brainer well if its a contest too see who makes the same song over and over again then slayer would definatly win that

metallica, definitely metalica is to hard for me its,loverboy,foreignor,jorney, bob segar three dog night. the good stuff the question was between slayer & metallica wasn't it??? I am eclectic in my taste in music & movies & just about everything.... but, metallica is definitely my preference over slayer.... 3 dog night... who 'turned you on to that'??? as we said back when 3 dog night was 'in their prime'....

Based on musicianship, melodic composition, lyrical content, social impact and relevance.. Metallica is by far the superior band. I used to like them both..but haven't listened to either of them in years.
