I think so, but maybe another question? Can obsession/addiction last? My experience is that it fades, some more quickly than others.

a friend of mine was so addicted to this one guy she had been seeing as where she put up with his abuse and she ended up in the state hospitol for counseling... i thought she was crazy for puting up with all that
