All the languages that use the latin (I hope I'm not wrong) numerical system which is: 1, 2, 3,......, obviously has a concordance in the value of each number.
but what happens with other languages or cultures which use a different numerical system (or different kind of symbols for numbers), are their values of the numbers the same as ours? TLW |

it would depend if their counting system was based on the digital method of 1 - 10 fingers as the standard. Myself, I use the toes too method, then I can get to twenty if I have my shoes off.

0-9 are Arabic.
Latin is the Roman Numeral equivalent, i.e.I V X L C M.

Math is universal language.
it is only universal because it has been agreed to on our planet, and certain procedures and analysis have been codified. There is no type of analysis nor proof that 1 + 1 = 2, except that someone somewhere said so, and it has been accepted, or that 1 divided by zero is undefined, except that someone said so. |

Math is universal. Regardless of the pronunciation or how it is written in a language, any given number has the same value in all.

A categorically incorrect statement. 1+1 has been proven to equal two. And and one divided by zero IS defined. The result is zero. |

Hebrew is 23 letters i believe. eash number means way more than a number. Ps. 119 has all the numbers laid out to the different thought about it. you will see the heading of each number spelled out in a english word through out it. Miles
