anybody who wants to help me out on this can, when women say stuff like "nothings wrong" and "i forgive you" what do they really mean??

I can only speak for myself but when I say "I forgive you" I mean it, but that does not mean I will forget. If something monumentally bad happened I can forgive but things won't be the same.

When I say "nothings wrong" sometimes nothing is wrong but sometimes I say that so he will try harder to make me open up. I know that sends mixed signals but I think it is a way for me to calibrate whether he cares enough to get to the root. In essence I don't want him to give up on me, even when I am being difficult.

It could mean that there is really nothing wrong or she doesn't know how to tell you or maybe waiting on the right time to tell you or she is just trying to cool down and figure out how to approach you about what is wrong.

She is forgiving you for your past deeds.

Just to shed some light for you...guys don't always try to get people to open up if you say 'nothings wrong' we tend to take it as is and figure that you will tell us later if something really is wrong or not..so we tend not to try to get you to open up..it doesn't mean we are giving up on you..it just means we are men..and not that good at communicating.

I have touble with questions like this thread title, because it demands a consensus type answer in order to get some sort of answer.
Problem with that is that individual identity must be erased in lieu of the majorities identity.

For a woman to answer "nothing is wrong" a man must first ask "what is wrong?". He has just established that he senses something is wrong. Perhaps it is all in the vocabulary, if he had said "I can see something is bothering you and I would like to know what it is" than maybe the response of ""nothing is wrong" would be lessened by 50% (some women will always answer with "nothing.." regardless of what he says.)

I do agree that men can not communicate to the degree that women would like. Sometimes we want to deconstruct everything so we can understand the whole when brought back together. Please consider that these are only my tendencies, but I am sure I am not alone. My saving grace is that I do vocalize these things to a man as a precursor. Still it does no good.

If, when I weep, I might tell him I want to be alone, when infact I just want arms around me. Even armed (no pun please) with that knowledge before the incident ever occurs, I am usually left alone to weep. As I figure that is okay because who likes a cry baby.

We just dont say it plain out like men do, we coax from you an expected understanding, we want you to figure it out without us having to tell you.

It does not make a man a wussy or whipped to understand and validate womens ways.
Us women tolerate in equal proportions the creature called MAN.

I am not the "norm" for a woman but if I say I forgive you that means you said you did something wrong and I say I forgive you for whatever it was.

If I say nothing is wrong that means one of two things, nothing is wrong or whatever is wrong is not you or concerns you and I need some space to work it out.

Brevity is always best. I think you just cemented my two paragraph post with your first 8 words. Every woman feels that way. So to answer the original question he asked, it must be addressed to the one girl.

With someone women it means what it says with others you need to read between the lines...Word from the wise if shes the other then expect a pay back down the line ...And in that case when it happens let her go.. there's nothing worse then a women scorned with a good memory and if shes counting the days to get you back. then shes wasting the time together that you could share in happiness
