“Dating Scene”

I wonder is this the way to go.
Does anyone really know?
Talking to others upon a screen.
What happen to the dating scene?
When a man use to come to your door.
Do they not do that anymore?
You use to go out to a movie.
That was when times were groovy.
I guess that is all in the past.
Things now seem to go so fast.
Now you look upon a screen for a face.
And they seem to always live in a different place.
With the miles to many to count.
You have to have a good bank account.
If you want to meet them someday.
You must catch a plane and fly their way.
Who would have ever guessed?
We would get so obsessed.
In finding a mate this way.
Have our minds went astray?
It will finally make you stressed.
And leave you all depressed.
Just to find a love of your life.
This sure is a lot of strife.
But it never fails to bring a smile.
So I guess in the end it’s all worthwhile.

There's a scene for dating now?? WOW...I must have been sleeping a long time. What happened?

Actually I think we all forgot what dating was like at one time. Shsshsh ya know when a guy actually asked do you want to go out with me. And even if it was going for a walk or roller skating you had a blast laughing cutting up and most the time you did not worry what would happen. For the boy had that vision of your Dad holding his shot gun. Lmao

Yeppiers I'm that old shshsh I do miss those days when your date only lived a few blocks away instead of 2-4 states away
