Hm, for a soup like that, you might want the bread. If it is the creamy blended soup I'm thinking about, the bread would be excellent to dip into it. Now for a hearty chunky soup, I would go for the salad.

I had the greatest carrot soup on a vacation in New Brunswick - Yum!!! Anyone have a recipe for carrot soup they would like to share?? I have some but, drats, they just don’t measure up to the one from my vacation.
