You need more than 90 posts to become established.

 Whahooooo I have over 90 posts! Come on I am established! Bring on the emails.

Hit 100 and I'll e-mail you. Only don't ask me to marry you in the first e-mail.

But But 100 posts should at least get me a proposal, right? blushing

After 5,000 you can propose, but you'll have to clear it with the rest of them first.

And yeah, Lilith, you don't have a clue why they're writing...please! laugh

I mean that... I do not have a clue. My profile clearly states I have a boyfriend I met on the site and I stay for the forum community.

Examples of mail I get:

"Want to chat?"

"Hi"

"Hello!!!!"

And these were just today. So I wonder.... why are they writing?

If you email ppl who live on the other side of the planet whom you will never have a chance of meeting, they will respond. JSH has a hidden rule about ppl who live close enough to meet are forbidden from communicating with you. The punishment for violating this rule is that you get triple birthdays every year from then on.ohwell

As an insider, I can tell you that this is called the "Proximity Nullification Protocol" -- or PNP -- and is intended to keep people from meeting each other, as a form of population control.

Yeah you would think people come on a site like this to chat and maybe meet. I have found that not to me true.....

Maybe its me but I rather think its themlaugh

Exactly! I email everyone back to acknowledge I got their email. I am honest if I am not interested. Well the two emails I have gotten. 50yr something men. Duh! hello can't u read...ages 38-40 grumble

Yeah it is them not us. laugh

I think there are a lot of people that come here because they are lonely and a place like this meets some need but when faced with a meeting or even a conversation thry back away quick. Bottom line is that there are many not ready for anything like real relationship.

AND YES ITS THEM AND NOT US!!!!!!!!!!

I have lots of people that e-mail me. Sometimes I have trouble keeping up in the forums because of the e-mails.

Just friends, though, but friends rock.
