well, all I can say is that if he is supposed to be on psych meds and isn't taking them or is not taking them correctly...stay away from him. That whole scenario will not get better and in all likelihood escalate into something terrible. You deserve lots better than that...

If he is diagnosed as depressed and will not take his medications, that shows a clear lack of love and caring for HIMSELF. If he can't take care of him, he cannot care for you. You seem like a loving, caring, kind person. You deserve the same. If you ask me, this guy sounds controlling, passive aggressive, selfish and totally lacking in consideration and empathy. Surely there is something about him you like... what is it?

If you don't love him and don't want to marry him then it shouldn't matter if he is affectionate. Why bother even trying to figure it out? You need to move on to find someone you care about who will return the feelings. Not waste your time worrying about some fool who is just playing around with your emotions and you are letting him.

a candidate for what? Not sure I understand your post at all. If you don't love him, why do you care that he is not affectionate? I'm confused, fill me in. A candidate for marriage. He's supposedly my BF. I call, he won't answer or call me back. And, most of the time won't call at all. Say's he doesn't like to talk on the phone.I know how that sound's...NOT my bf. He does suffer from depression and, does not take his med.'s as he should. But you just said, you don't love him! So what does it matter? Maybe you should let him go, so he can be with someone who loves him, then he will be affecionate

It all boils down and its simple if your not happy and you dont love him get out now befor it gets worse theres no need to be in a relationship if one person is not in love with the other person not unless it's what the guy has . I know some women only stay for that reason for a place to stay ect not that im saying all but there are some people who do that. I know i wouldn't be in that kind of relationship that's for sure.
