huh laugh I am sorry this made me laugh. I have to agree with Bell on this one though. I do not think some guy gets thefur from the side of the road.

Me personally HATE the idea of a fur coat. Just the thought of a animal being killed for something other then food disturbs me. And i am really sorry, I do not think the homeless are feasting off of mink and foxes. noway

Ok, and thanks for your input but have you and Bell thought this all the way through? Just three words..."alligator boots".even gators and crocks eat beaver!laugh laugh laugh

Now let me back up and tell you why I am convinced. It all started with the boots. I have heard tell of people who vacation down in florida and they buy these baby alligators because they are cute with their gapped teeth and, well infinite reasons.
They bring them home and suddenly little gator bites little "jonathon marcus steward thoroughgood" on his ankle.

Next, they actually flush it down the toilet.

In the sewer it grows and grows bigger until the homeless eat if for meat and throw the skin out of the sewer.

I have, literally, volumes on this research..that i have done.

Well guess what alligators love to eat? BINGO, meat like beavers and mink. That explains what the mink and beaver are doing down in the sewer.

They raise minks on farms and slaughter them for their pelts and sell the pelts, I don't know what they do with the meat, may give it to a game farm to feed the animals, I don't know. My brother used to work on a mink farm years ago. They were really mean and would try to bite the guys, if they got bit they had to be careful of serious infections.

I don't know if they raise foxes on farms or not. They must, because takes quite a few to make a coat.

But alligators and crocs are farm raised too and I see where they sell their meat on the television.

If the alligators in the sewer are eating the foxes and beavers, they are going to eat the fur coats on them too, not spit it out????

Lots of people hunt for sport and for eating game.
Family has 300 acres with high fence for all types of hunting and a nice lodge. Even breed pointers for hunting and competition.

People have been hunting, fishing and trapping forever.
Just as people have been eating game forever.

You will never change the fact that it happens even if you believe its wrong.

i just sighed.

I am saying this, Okay who is smarter? Choices being alligator or human (including the homeless). This is a no brainer, man is smarter. Who has the smarts to intercept the influx of mink and fox, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME, managing to avoid alligator attacks? Answer: streetwise homeless people.

THE ALLIGATORS NEVER EVEN GET THE CHANCE TO EAT THE MINK AND FOX. People are too smart to let that happen.
It almost exactly, or if not almost exactly but nearly exactly as when salmon spawn.

But the Alligator and Crocodiles have managed to survive thousands of years with very little to no evolution, while man has had to evolve to throughout the years.

Notice i never used that term "evolution". In my research I have found that only alligators in the wild evolve but few people have ever seen this. Alligators in captivity, or, not unlike sewer life remained UN evolved.

Secondly, wild alligators have survived for so many years because they have been eating all the minks and fox. Thus, resulting in the high demand for their fur.

It is really a circle, it all comes full circle.

Would I? Did not Einstein yell to the world? Did not Leonardo da vinci seek publication after publication?

Did not Gallileo let himself be put to death so his research would not go unheard?

Actually I really don't want to share my research.

Null comparison, Crocs and Alligators go off instinct man pre-thinks their disposition...which one would last longer?

I have seen exactly how they skin these animals for fur and me personally, I choose to not have anything to do with it. Maybe if you've watched an animal hung by its back legs upside down being skinned alive and struggling for its life you would maybe feel the same way. To treat another living thing that way just so you can say hey look at me, I have an expensive fur coat, I'm rich and better than you, well its completely inhumane. In this day and age no one needs to wear fur to keep warm. Its a status thing. Bullsh*t.

every animal that i've seen skinned was killed beforehand...

ok, wtf is this thread about. I am confused. I keep seeing some dumb thing about mink and fox and alligators in the sewers in the city and this is where fur coats come from because some guy found it in the sewer and his mom can sew. What the hell is someone smoking.???

I would only hope that an animal was humanely put down before being skinned. Sadly that doesn't happen. I have seen where they take an animal and bash its head off the ground, it is merely stunned and then skinned alive. I have seen numerous videos on the Peta website and other places.
