To the OP Kitty,

Remember that although there's a human that deserves a certain degree on respect at the other end of this connection, you can chose who to respond to & you have the ultimate power. You have a power button. Don't let anyone ruin what should be a recreational experience!

I used to try for perfect spelling & grammer, & after 5 edits the whole thread had moved past that point & it was all wasted . I just try to get my idea down quickly now , before the thread dies. I have terrible computer skills, but I am learning slowly as I go.

I am disturbed that I see myself typing errors I would never write. I never confuse the use of an apostrophe on paper, but have done it here several times. Is it a case on fingers going faster than brain? The computer culture seems to be changing our language use. It's all about speed.

I give people the benifit of the doubt. If I can't understand the post because of typos, I simply ask for them to re word it. I have noticed people often resort to picking on your grammer & typos when their argument grows weak.

The thing is that you have to accept responsibility for your own part on here. If you post an incendiary thread, expect some backlash.If every one of your posts is a complaint about someone, expect some disagreement.

If you can't handle that, then you should post non-controvesial topics.

I have never had people turn on me in any of my threads because I am very careful about what I post.

People turn on me all the time, but I expect that, I am controversial.... Luckily I don't give much of a rats azz what people say when they don't do it intelligently.... and yes if someone presents an arguement that is clear and non confrontational from jump I can be swayed to change my mind.

If someone comes at me with anger, I imediatly decline anything they want to say to me, and you can ask lillith, I watch what people say, and retain that information in my tiny little blonde head.....

I have gotten into plenty of disagreements and even yes, out and out fights with people on here about things, but about 90% of them have become friends.... the one's who didn't or haven't.... it's because THEY hold a grudge about MY opinion... THEIR LOSS.... I'm a pretty smart cookie, and a compassionate person.... when the time calls for it... but if you want compassion for your ignorance.... You're looking at the wrong girl for that..... When people make ignorant statments then complain because someone treated them ignorant....well better to be thought a fool then to open your mouth and prove yourself one.....

One thing I say over and over again...

"Write for the reader." Why is that sooooo hard for some?


(Hint 'the reader' is all of JSH)

I would wager that 99% of the people on here don't know what that means.

And that is so terribly sad if it is true.
