There have been alot of discussion lately, labeling people.
there was one last night where someone was upset because people didn't speak English infront of her. People like to call names skank, ho... People say things like "This is America, if you don't...fill in the blank... get out" Unless you are hurting a child, or animal, committing murder or rape, or robbing banks...it doesn't concern me. What you do in the privacy of your own bedroom with one or 15 consenting adults, unless I am one of the parties it doesn't involve me so why should I care? Why does everyone want to be up in everyone else's business? Why do we have such attitudes about the goings on with someone els's life? |

Because people live some very dull and boring lives. And they think that the only way to make themselves feel better is by belittling somebody else. Just my opinion anyways.

I think its human nature in some people to want to belittle others to make themselves look better

To make us feel better about ourselves? Belittling others and trying to act as though we are better in some way. To me it all derives on self esteem.

They do it to hide thier own discrepencies or to fill a very boring void in thier otherwise unmatured world. |

My friend is a Darwinist, and I can see alot of his points, but I don't have (they don't have) enough information to make the arguement cohesive. So I don't discount it, but I'm not fully "with" that idea.
He gets so angry when I point out the flaws in the arguement. The same goes for people's lives. I don't know why you (generally speaking) do what you do, and I may disagree with it, but all the facts of the matter are not known to me, so why would I judge someone for their actions? |

Frankly, that's why I quit posting in the forums. Lately, the subjects have been disappointing to me. Negative thoughts only incur negative reactions.
Where are all the positive happy people on here? |

I have to admit I am pretty nosey myself, I like to know what's going on. I dont thrive on drama, but I just can't help wanting to hear gossip

I am nosey but in a good way....not a fringe or belittle or hurt anyone kind of way. I'm nosey too, and there is nothing wrong with standing firm on your beliefs. I can respect that. I just don't like the gay bashing, or male/female bashing, or anyother bashing for that matter...... personal bashing is all I can tolerate.... I know you and I don't always agree, but I do respect your convictions, and your firmness with what you believe. |

and Lily darling - that pic is so YOU by the way- I always argue with these people but I have been told I am tilting at windmills; wasting my breath. But I keep thinking that somehow I can break through that massive wall of ignorance.
