i preferred the movie's ending, but the book was better executed.

has been removed pending Moderator review.

There are several violations of Mingle2 rules. I suggest rereading them.

We will make a decision regarding this thread and any suspensions when our time permits as it is a holiday.

From what I understand, houses that have had meth made in them have to be demolished because they are toxic.
or at least they should.

one of my oldest and dearest friends bought a trailer from impound a few years ago. she got it dirt cheap, and she was quite pleased with it...that is, until they steam-cleaned the carpets.

her baby, who was still only crawling, and herself became so whacked we didn't know what was going on. she brought in an independent specialist and sent eh kids to stay with her mom while figuring it out...turns out the whole house lit up. the floors were soaked through with the chemicals...and nobody had ever told her that it was seized for being a meth lab.

not a pleasant time, i assure you.

There is an "Our Blog" option at the top of the page. I am checking into your question trublu5ft2. Bear with me

Kim
The "Our Blog" option is to read the blog of one of our developers. We do not, at this time, have this feature.

Let the kid smell and get made fun of at school by boys. She would shower eventually.
that's my answer, too.

that's about as natural of a consequence as you can get.

oh, and i choose to live in a culturally diverse area, because i absolutely refuse for my children to be raised in a white-washed world...

i always point it out when i see it...even when it makes others uncomfortable. i can't help it...i just do. i piss some off, i make others think.

i come at it from a different side, maybe...my biological father is a good ol' southern piece of crap...and my daddy was as dark as the night. i've been treated like the worst pond scum just for going to dinner with my dad. i've had people literally spit on me and move to the other side of the street...and i'm not dark.

if they treat me that way, how do they treat those with darker skin? and if i dealt with it daily...wouldn't i get a little pissy?

i believe that we owe it to the human race to point out the issues we see. my comfort level was passed years ago...so i'll continue to open my big mouth.

TaoistMagus, I've done a bit of messing around with this, and I see why you'd think it wasn't working. There's an extra step that you must take that isn't apparent.

After you click on the link showing an interest, it looks as if it's showing you people that share that interest. It is NOT doing so. What it is doing is adding that term to the search parameters. After that, you have to click "Search". Once you've done so, a list will pop up of people in your search area that share that interest.

Hope this helps.

How has this thread not been moved??
WE have special powers that prevent silly things from happening,,,we just can't control all the bigger ones,wink..

OK,,,real answer,,,who knows??????lol

Well..it's one of two things....

Either the mods are asleep at the switch....

or

None of them happen to be online at this point...lol
It's not been moved because it's a simple question. It's not a political debate, nor a moral one.

If this thread becomes such, it will be removed.

The absolute majority of posts in this thread have been respectful, which is why we've chosen to watch.

I'm certain you know what would happen if we switched it to Current Events...

As a general reminder, we at Mingle2 are very careful with the topic of abortion. It can be a volatile and very emotional issue.

In order to keep this thread, let's NOT debate each other; only answer the original question of whether you are for or against, and let's keep our answers directly on topic and not each other.

IMHO a good many women lie about the number of sexual partners they've had. They lower the number so guys won't think they're slutty.
nope. heck, i even give details if asked.

My son is 17 months old and he is at that stage where he like to grab everything. I know it's normal for kids this age, but with out spanking because it's not how things work with me.

What are some ideas on teaching him not to grab everything or am I doomedlaugh laugh
you aren't doomed; the mouth is how children learn.

anything that's of value or that could hurt him should be placed out of his reach. make sure that he has a supply of items that are safe for him to chew on and learn from. at his age, a simple "no" combined with redirection can work wonders.

"no, you can't eat that" combined with, "here you go".

they are so amazing at the age...the curiosity...i like to get down on their level, sit on the floor...and just see through new eyes.

and how the heck did he get that old? surely it hasn't been that long...jeesh.

Should you feel you have a problem with this, stay out of the thread. Use the "Report Abuse" feature if someone steps over the line.

I'd heard the poor girl quit counting at 40 rapes. Can anyone confirm or contradict this?

You mean 40 individuals participated in raping? It seems the police think they have reason to believe there were far fewer. Will post an article within the next few days or so, unless someone else does first.
or maybe she was raped repeatedly by each person.

this one's easy.

i'd sell my handmade candles, bath salts, and hot-process soaps...with a set-up for lotions made-to-order according to preferences in scent, weight, etcetera...

i'd offer potpourri, gift baskets, and a variety of matching scent profiles.

i'd sell artwork from amazing local artists, such as sheila boylan parsons...with meditational music and books.
