of course it can happen. there are many confident women out there that are comfortable approaching men they find attractive. hey - you only live once and what have you got to lose? if he's not interested -that's life, keep it pushiN. I think older women are more confident and more willing to approach a guy she might find attractive too. of course it's lust - how can it be love?????

after a night out on the town i feel good. come home, wash my face, turn on some background noise and go over what the evening was all about. now if it's disastrous...different story...

sounds to me like she had a few drinks, she's your friend so she was comfortable with you. you took care of her, which is what it sounds like you've been doing anyway - paying for dinners, movies etc. (she just might be taking advantage of you in that department) there is probably nothing there. women will usually let a guy know she's interested and she told you you're just friends. leave it at that and ms. right will be along...just be patient.
