Mine is still a baby, I've read it's hard when they're babies and then again when they're teens, so I would just be prepared for that. I have already set aside some money for my daughter's college one day because I figure she will need it and I probably won't have it later on. Somehow we as parents have to help them become self sufficient and let them be themselves at the same time. this are the kind of replies i really needed.. thank you so much for reminding me about college... in my country, its better the education is free even if i want my daughter to go through a private school... and also i have a study policy for her too,, now i am scared that when she grows up, then she would want a father figure and i don't know where to touch when that happens,, but i am planning to be open to her in whatever way so she would be able to confide in me as her single parent. |
