I think emotionally intelligent people understand the Dynamics that should be in place when you're committed to one person it weakens the relationship when too much energy is given to an outsider and the other spouse is given a less amount of time and energy |

I see what you mean @Ladywind7... lol. My white friends are men, however I have heard white straight women refer to black girls as sexy because of their thick bodies and full lips.
Like I said before, some women like being described as sexy... not me |

I am African and have only dated within my race even though I am 'colour blind'. I like strong black men, however, I recently started fancying Caucasian men too (well maybe not just recently if you consider my childhood crush was Jean Claude Van damme lol)
The disturbing thing is my few white friends always describe black women as sexy in a manner that suggest to me that we give off sex appeal. Maybe to another black woman this might be a compliment but for me I don't exactly want to be seen as 'sexy' as I am often described. I will like to know what white men here think of African women. I am a person first then a woman who enjoys intelligent conversations especially the ones that leaves you better informed and is laced with humour. Is it possible for a man to see us as such without those other imaginations? |
