and I am going to pay for it again I don't know any way else to be Why does this world make us pay so dearly for honesty I want to switch places I want to be the one missed for a change can feeling anything be better than feeling nothing? Why does this world make the cost of feeling so high I can't be another person But I wish I was Because if I was another person I wouldn't have to work as hard as I have to I bring nothing to the table just my own corny view on what life should be like What friendship is What love is How does one know when they are actually in love? Does it really matter? Does pouring your heart out even help at all No. Love is felt or it's just not felt. |

I do believe in soul mates, but I don't necessarily believe that our soul mate(s) is the one we "end up" with.
I have a friend named Angie. She is someone I consider my soul mate. We love everything the same, the same bands, we think the same and finish each others sentences. There is nothing that will ever tear us apart. Many years ago when we first met, I was married. We obviously had a serious mutual attraction (nothing has ever happened) Then when I got a divorce, she was married. Then when I broke up with my ex, she was divorced, but she was in a serious relationship... sigh... There is nothing I can't say or do to Angie that she would not be there for me and vice versa... but cosmic devices keep us from being a couple. Maybe that is OK, I am happy we haven't destroyed what we have. Soul mates are real and they are there... We ALL have them in our life, but don't believe the movies that they will be your true love. (your true love will also be your soul mate, if you're lucky). You have a soul mate and if you think about it you know who it is. |

You know what is funny though... In my 38 years of existence... I never ONCE had a woman just give me her number, never once had a woman approach ME for attention, not even once... Until the last 3 months. Only difference is I shaved it clean... Enough woman like it I guess. or Maybe I like it and I carry myself like I look good for once...
