Thanks mate. I was thinking it was something to do with OS. I've recently had it reinstalled due to errors.The computer is 3 years old so maybe it's getting towards the end of its life.

I've recently started having trouble with my laptop. Everytime I shut it down and start it again it will not connect to the net. I have to do a system restore every day to get an internet connection. Any suggestions on what it could be. Thanks for any help.

It was just this weekend gone. I had been talking to a nice lady online that turned out to be not so nice. I traveled 3.5 hrs to go motorbike riding with her. We had also planned to go to the movies and other things that didn't eventuate. She ended up going out with her friends for drinks on saturday nite and left me at her house with her 16yo son.To say I felt humiliated is an understatement. The reason she gave me was very weak at best. IMO there is no excuse to treat anyone like that. It bought a tear to my eyes to be so humiliated and let down. But life will go on.

I too this very weekend found out the hard way people misrepresent themselves on the net.It hasn't turned me off wanting to meet people though. Not yet anyway.lol
