Thanks for your nice words to the Filipino people and your right no flashy jewelries.Be simple as possible you don't need to flaunt your fortune in public places. Why, will I get robbed if I wore on jewelry, incl. a gold watch, in public? Just curious, so I'm asking. In the country I live in now, everybody, esp. women wear a lot ot of 22 K gold jewelry as part of their daily attire. There are jewelry robberies (it's called 'chain snatching') but compared to the quantity of gold worn daily, it is small. Not wearing flashy jewelry is a sound advice because like in any country, there are unsafe places and bad people, and even some good people tempted to commit bad acts (unfortunately to some people here, it could be a matter of life and death for a family member; survival -- many people are poor and starving). So it's safer for a foreigner, who is not familiar with unsafe places and people to keep out of danger by not calling attention to themselves. |

Whether one is a single mom or a single dad with full custody of children, potential partners could turn away. The mind says -- too much complication, added responsibilities, children after all should be a parent's number one priority; issues of time and even rivalry or jealousy among the children could surface. But, one should always be true to one's self, values and principles first, and hopefully for some people, the heart will prevail over the mind, and say I'll take you, children, pets and all. It's a package deal - take it or leave it. When they leave, they're not the right ones for you anyway, so just keep moving forward with a happy heart believing that the best is yet to come.

Love is an action Word, it requires a physical and mental action. I was married to the same Lady for 32 years, and lost her 2 1/2 years ago to cancer. I know that every time I held her hand I still got goose bumps, I was holding her hand the day she passed away. I know that we tried to keep at least two nights a month that was just us, we called it DATE NIGHT!!! It was a life of slow dancing in the kitchen while cooking. It was a pat on the butt just because she walked by. It was a look of amazement that she was with me, love requires honesty, respect, humor, touch, smell, it's the want of being with each other. Love is forgiving and forgetting, Love is never a need, it is a want because it was chosen between the two of you to be!! Love is real, and I hope and Pray that all on here find that someone to finish this life out with together. Real, special forever love -- you were blessed to have found it, I'm sorry she passed away, it must have been difficult. |

Don't let those who fake love or those who are incapable of loving blind you to the fact that real love exists. Love is still Life's greatest gift, but you got to let love live in your own heart and mind, have the ability to give and capacity to receive it -- for it to be real for YOU. Could you imagine a world without real love? It will be far worse and intolerable than it is now.
