Thank you guys so much! I just got back from there. Showed a little cleavage, filled out the application, smiled at the manager, and told him how excited I was to apply because the bar's two blocks from my house. Hopefully I'll at least get an interview. :)

Anyways, I'm going to a apply for a bartending job today, but I've never done it before. They said they not particularly looking for someone with experience, so I hope I've got a shot. And I was wondering if there were any bardenders on here that might give me a tip or two? Things to say or ask during an interview? |

So I'm new to Chicago, but I really love it here. I don't think everyone is cold. Some people sure, but it seems like whenever I get lost someone knows where I'm going. And most of the time the directions are right. :)
And about once a week somebody on the bus tells me I'm pretty. Ok sure, it's usually a guy that's old enough to be my grandpa. But I'll take what I can get. :P So I'm up in Roger's Park / Edgewater area. What are the cool spots to hang out around here? |

Hey everybody. So I'm back on here after being gone for a little over a year. Thought I would give it another shot since I haven't been in Chicago long and I haven't quite got the hang of going to a bar and meeting people.
