Well the right answer is to still be his friend. It is when you love someone when they mess up or when their flaws come out that you show real love. Not just when they are doing great or their good side is showing.

So I think you should still be his friend. What you have to do is to let him know that it was wrong and that you don't agree with it. I mean you could stop talking to him for a while or something like that. But I think you need to stand by your friend, as he will most likely be going through a lot of guilt and pain from the breakup.

I have been there and done that and it was definately wrong, but I gained a lot of invaluable lessons that I would have never learned had I not cheated. I think the only time something really sticks with you is when it is the most painful.

Actually girls do like funny guys. The problem is they don't like funny guys at first. They want an asshole. Someone who makes them feel challenged. No girl is looking for a nice guy. Here is a typical saying.

"You know when I met "Spike" he was an asshole. He would slap my ass and make me buy the drinks. Then when he wouldn't be nice to my friends later and show me respect it was all I could take. I thought he would eventually turn into a nice guy."

See that's the problem. Most people are "you see what you get" kind. If someone come off as an arrogant prick...then mostly likely 2 weeks from then they will be an arrogant prick. Most girls don't understand that an asshole will not turn into a nice guy later. They will stay an asshole. Most girls say they are looking for a nice guy with a good sense of humor, but honestly they are looking for the bad boy with good looks.

If you made a girl choose between a shorter, fatter guy with a great sense of humor and a taller, darker haired asshole with a better body they would choose him. Most of the time relationships have initially short time frames. No one is viewed as a long term thing inititially. It is just when the initial time period is ended that women start looking for the shorter fatter guy in the taller dark haired guy. The problem is he is not in there.

So the next time you girls are in a bar or a club and some guy who isn't so attractive physically approaches you give him a chance. In the long run you will be happier and you won't have to keep searching for him when you pick the asshole.
