the issue here is undocumented aliens living and working in the states...xenophobia and political propaganda aside...the fact is, people go to the USA to work because they find work, leagl or otherwise..if you want to get rid of undocumented aliens..well, then..STOP GIVING THEM WORK..instead of punishing the people who are only trying to make a better life for themselves, come down hard on the people and companies that hire undocumented workers in the first place...

its like that stupid baseball movie..if you build it,they will come..well, dry up the job market for undocumented aliens and then you will see your "problems" reduced...

The Native Americans did not own every single mile of earth in the United states.I doubt if you added up all of the land they claimed they owned when the white man came I doubt you would have a state the size of Maine.Probably 98% of America was unclaimed land that many people never even set foot on.You must also remember many of the Native Americans sold parts and pieces of their land to anyone who would buy it.Even today Native Americans sell huge portions of their land for oil and gas rights.

Umm sir? No we don't and we didn't sell it at the time. Even today we are attempting to acquire more land with the little funds that we have in the coffers. If my tribe hears of a tribal member selling land or the mineral rights..they will buy it first...so it stays within the tribe. The reservation land can NEVER be sold.

I can speak for the tribe when I say the land here in the reservation will NEVER be sold. They may lease it out...but never sold.

And please note...oil and gas companies (drillers) do NOT buy land or mineral rights (unless it is a large find) they LEASE it.


Many people including my ancestors were living here long before the United states was a country.I have my paperwork showing my ancestors were living here way back in the 1600's as farmers.To say my ancestors were here illegally is a flat out lie as they were living here from the time the United states became a country.

You should also consider the 2,418,000 people living in the 13 colonies in 1775(that they know of and excluding Native Americans).All those millions of people have every bragging rights any Native American has because they have been in living in the United states from day one.

But the issue needs to be brought back..to the illegal immigrants and the people who have been in the country for years without the consideration to you and I of learning english.

ummm..ok..depending where you live, most of the southern US was at one time Mexico...ergo names like "el paso", "san diego", "los angeles", etc...

Those were from the time the various state belonged to Spain. EX, spanish missions in Texas.

mexicans have and continue to do a lot to help keep US economics booming in various sectors including (but not limited to), agriculture, construction, hotel/restaurant....

And think of the people that could go to work...better wages.. people who were born here. Now, I have nothing against someone who wants to come here, be a part of the workings of the country...ex pay taxes...learn the language..actually WANT to be a part of it...not just to get the money to send back to Mexico.

Ive met many members of various races who lived in the US for many years without ever speaking a word of english...

ah..and its not "mexican", its called spanish..and up until the late 1990s it was the language most spoken in the world...now, where ever you call in the world 99% of the time you can find someone who speaks english...

mexican and spanish are NOT the same language. They are different dialects of the same language root base.

And note I was NOT referring to the world...I was talking about this country...

aside from "native" americans..Mexicans were there first...
