All right kids, I come from North Carolina, where they MAKE the
cigarettes everyone is so upset about. Thank God you can still smoke
inside down there. However, since moving to MD I've found it
increasingly difficult. And the nasty looks I get every day are startin
to get on my last nerve! I don't think anyone has the right to tell me
what I can or can't do out in the OPEN air, in my OWN car or HOME.
(even tho i smoke outside 'cause of the babies LOL!)

You know, I think we forget sometimes that regardless of whether we
agree with our elected leaders or not, our soldiers are just doing their
jobs, and we need to support them always. Thanks!

Hey girl! Welcome. I'm new from maryland too. I know what it's like to
be a single mom (I've got 3 ages 9, 5, and 1). I can't imagine having 2

A son picked up his phone two days before Christmas. His dad was on the
line. He sounded very depressed and downhearted. "Son, you're mother
and I are getting a divorce. We hate to tell you with Christmas just 2
days away, but we can't stand it anymore." "No!" shouted the son.
"Just cool off. I'll be there as soon as I can get a flight. I'm
calling my sister too. Don't do anything till we get there!"

A few minutes later the dad's phone rang and it was his daughter on the
line. "Dad, you and mom have not thought this through. You've been
together for 35 years. You CAN'T get divorced. I'm catching a flight
tomorrow."

The dad hung up the phone and turned to his wife with a big smile on his
face. "It's all set honey. Both kids are coming for Christmas and
they're paying their own way!"

You guys seem like a sweet and supportive bunch. Cybear, I'd love to
try the ice or inline skating as long as you break my falls! :) LOL

Maybe you can tell from my subject title I'm from the south? Anyway,
I'm a newly transplanted Marylander (I think that's the word) and I
really like what I've been reading on the site. I'm looking forward to
