King Arthur: I am your king.
Woman: Well I didn't vote for you.
King Arthur: You don't vote for kings.
Woman: Well how'd you become king then?
[Angelic music plays... ]
King Arthur: The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. THAT is why I am your king.
Dennis: [interrupting] Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

There's probably a site that would be right for your issues. I would suggest looking on Google, with search of "mac support"! That should lead you to some interesting sites.

1st thing that comes to mind on the printer, is to do some research on new printers w/pages output information, or estimated pages it would print on a normal cartage use. Then compare price.

Hope this gives you some idea in which way to find what your looking for.

Good luck,

John,

Appreiciate your help. I will take your advise. Takes me a while to research and act, but I plan on giving feedback when I get something accomplished.

Again - Thanks!

I have an iMac. It's old in computer years (1999 or 2000 or so). Anyway, I'm not the worlds most computer literate person. I have several issues that I don't know where to go for answers or who to ask.

We have an Epson Stylus C82 as our printer. This thing sucks the ink like a car with an oil leak (have one of these also). Is there a printer (does NOT have to be color) that is more economical when it comes to ink? Haven't been able to print because it says the "yellow" catridge is out even though I'm trying to print in black....another $60 plus.......BS

Also, this computer came with a MAC OS 9 operating system & a MAC OS X. The OS X doesn't recognize the Stylus printer (OS 9 miraculously did) and when I tried to put in the CD that has the Stylus' specifications, the OS X says it can't read it or recognize it or something like that. Very frustrating, but to be honest, it's been over a year since I tried and I really can't remember the specifics (screen and warnings) of why it rejected the process of printer introduction. I just know it did.

Suggestions? I don't feel confident in Best Buy/Geek squad, but is the a service that's resonably priced that could answer my problems?

Charles is a character. He'd say or do anything, if he thought it would help. Wouldn't you? I know I'd be talking and trying to get the police officer to notice I had my faculties, maybe let me slide.

Side note: Charles Barkley is a good man. When he was in Houston, we had a delivery driver, who was a nice person, but a bit on the mentally challenged side. Meant well, but couldn't grip certain concepts. Anyway this gentleman (our driver) was in his late 50's and was making a delivery at a gym. Barkley happened to be there and was leaving. Our driver asked him for an autograph. Barkley signed for this man of fifty plus even though he was leaving the facility and even though our driver asked Charles to sign one of our delivery receipts.

Long story, but both men had good hearts. I think Charles just hasn't grown up completely, but who has and when do you know?
