My experience is most profiles are scammers. We can provide these generalized opinions, but facts are more useful. I'm 65, as of post, looking for a woman plus/minus 10 which would be the age group that has high commonality with me. However, the distribution of my likes, as of post, -20 that disappeared due to deactivated profiles. Total 59 likes, 20-ish=3, 30-ish=21, 40-ish=20, 50-ish=12, 60-ish=2, 70-ish=1, 55-75=6 (age+-10). Women < 55 make up 53 of 59 total likes. Mingle needs to require passport or license on signup or specially mark profiles of those willing to verify age, address and photo. Sign me up, please and allow me to filter out those not verified.

how do i turn off the music

I am using the app and it does not play music. If you are talking about the notification melody that occurs when you get a nudge, like or message. You can turn that off by clicking the right most account icon, looks like a person in a bubble, then at the top click the gear icon, press Notification and unclick what you do not want to receive notification melody's for. Hope that helps, Andrew.

More than likely those significantly younger woman are running some scam. I created a post in the bug forum a couple of weeks ago about Mingle not applying your Filter settings, so as to not allow people who do not meet your criteria from liking, nudging or contacting you. As far as stopping those from another country, the best you can do is: Click on Search at top, then uncheck "Let users from other countries view my profile".

This is not a bug, per say, but an annoyance. My mail filter is set to: must be female 55 to 75 within 50 miles, block users who smoke. It would be preferable not to receive likes, nudges or have anyone who does not fit those criteria appear in my mutual matches. According to the mail filter rules, those people in my mutual matches cannot message me anyway, so why clutter my mutual matches with them or allow them to like or nudge me?

how to unblock

Click Mail at the top, then click Blocked Users on navigation bar below it at the top, click Remove Block or click check box of the person, then click Unblocked Selected.

Click Account at top, the in the Account Home section, click edit photos. I only have one photo, so there is a main tag and under it is a delete button.
