the music that plays while I a m using the app is EXTREMELY annoying, how do you turn it oft?

I am using the app and it does not play music. If you are talking about the notification melody that occurs when you get a nudge, like or message. You can turn that off by clicking the right most account icon, looks like a person in a bubble, then at the top click the gear icon, press Notification and unclick what you do not want to receive notification melody's for. get that as well, it's not notifications it's actual music even if the app is running in the background
