Because I have old women view my page..it is weird. I don't get why these people from other countries find someone close. I am half way around the world. I think when 28+ year old women view me, I feel like saying, "Do I look old to you?" Many people in real life guessed my age 26+, lol. Stupid genes, I am going to go find some on ebay! Rofl
Would any of you be semi-concerned if all the people that view you are 6+ years older than you? I would be. |

But I don't want people from Macau wanting to view me...kinda weird. They are also 28+ years of age. I am scared, lol.

Oh? In that case is there a way to block people from 500,000 miles from me?

I have a question regarding searching other Mingle2. Besides searching for people with zip code, miles from your zip code and all the other fields on the search members field; are there any other ways, like by interest?
The reason I ask is because I am getting random people from random countries viewing me. >_< These people are from countries I have never heard of, lol. |

I have been an insomniac for years, I started meditating, it's the ONLY thing that works for me....if I don't meditate I don't sleep. I want to find a way that does not take away from my computer time. =) |

Passing by and saying "hi."

What would you do in the folloeing scenario:
-You meet someone male or female (doesn't matter) at a place (can be anywhere) -You talk to the person maybe 5 - 30 mins. -You don't get their phone number, for whatever reason. -The next day, week or two, or whenever, for whatever reason, notice each other.. What do you do? I see them as just a random person just like everyone else and continue walking on by. No clue why, guy or girl, friend or foe, it is just weird to me. So, what would you do if this happened? |

I have 2 friends. They are people I can trust and things like that.
The rest are aquiantinces. I don't really know em, just say hi to them when I see them...but only if they say hi to me first. |

I would rather live in the middle of nowhere, lol. At least I would know to stop looking, rofl.

Uh, a non-expensive, non-illegal way is preferred.
Thanks though. =/ |

So...anyone know of my hometown? It is where Afroman is from. We also have desert, rabbits, Joshua Trees, tumbleweeds, snakes, dirt, rocks, and ...more desert.
But yeah. Anyone near this quicksand land? LOL |

In the past month, I have found it extremely hard to sleep. It has progressed worse and worse. Currently, I have been pulling all-nighters every other night. This is because I am not tired after being up for one workday. So I thought I would ask a vast age range (you fellow Minglers) instead of going to a doctors copay I can't afford.
If you are not tired, what's a good way to go to sleep? Anyone else ever been this restless? |

I am not complaining, lol. After three months of no new people, I figured there would be no new people on here, especially after eight months. I was just wondering how many people are still here. I still have fun on here of course, but I don't expect to the slightest degree to meet someone on here.
But, nah, I wouldn't complain about this site because I wasn't expecting anything from it anyway. Lol. I love you guys! |

Pfffffft! A 1 & a 1/2hr drive is NOTHING if you care about someone... Like everyone has said...EXPAND your search... My 1999 Nissan Altima has 349,000 miles on it with a bad alternator and I am sure it will die soon. If my car goes, I am totally screwed. |

Perhaps your area was sucked down into the Evil Vortex of Lost Socks? Correction, the Ghetto Vortex of No-Man's Land. Lol. But yeah its really far from other places, like 1 1/2 hour drive! |

Eight months ago I was at 260 lbs. (I am 260 in my current pictures, still gotta upload new ones.) I am 5' 6", and I look a lot older than I am. (That's what I get for being half Italian, lol) Kidding..moving forward...
I moved out of my mom's house about 8 months ago. I now weigh 220. I haven't ran an inch since then, and don't neccesarily eat health. I usually have no breakfast or lunch, and for dinner its usually two sandwichs with cheese, mayo, on white bread. Sometimes for dinner I have spaghetti-o's, macaroni n cheese, homemade cheeseburgers, and pasta. I don't have sweets or drink soda, because I don't have the money, lol. I drink brewed iced-tea with lemon juice and no sugar. So I ask Mingle2-ers this: No diet, no exercise...and I lost 40 lbs. (I am not bragging) What happened? Edit: My pants and shirts do not fit well. I have lost four inches on my waist. Is there way a cheap way to alter these? I do not have extra money to buy extra clothes. Any thoughts? |

I didn't know where else to fit this subject in, but yeah. As the topic reads, why is Mingle2 so dead? There have been nobody new within 25 miles of my zip code (93550) since I joined. Mingle2 is on the top search results for Google...so what happened?
I do like the community here, though. It passes the time while I am working. |

I was not sure where to post this topic. I figured it deals with mostly metaphors and such, so I am pretty sure it belongs here.
In this topic, what is your personal slogan? Something you live by every day, or you believe in should be a part of it. I want people to post their slogan/saying, and also a description or interpretation of it. Most can come off crazy, but once interpreted by the person, it can mean a lot of sense. I will start with mine: ---------- My slogan: "Guns for show, knives for a pro." Meaning: This can relate to anything in life. Of course you can have the easy way out but in the end you will soon find yourself obligated to learn the basic mechanics of what you are doing/learning. (An example is let's say you are learning a flashy new web development program. You then run into a problem that you cannot solve. Sometimes, learning the "old school" or hard coded computer language may be the shortest way out of that problem.) ---------- Anyone else? This can get interesting! |
