What I meant with 'dare to take a step back', is basically "dare to let go" while keeping faith that things will work out for the best.
And by letting go I don't mean you should end the relationship, but more letting go of whatever it is you're doing now, which can be anything from fretting, worrying, trying to make things better and to solve everything (overfunctioning) etc etc.
So in that sense step back from making an effort, trying to solve it all (on your own maybe?) and let things be for a moment. Breathe, relax. Basically step out of stress & conflict.
Maybe things will slow down when you do this, but at least things should feel better --> less pressure.
Now I don't know your exact situation, but as a general advice I'd say, don't let yourself be forced to make a decision! Tell your partner you need some time, that it is moving too fast for you. (telling him/her this is also a form of stepping back). If your partner loves you, he will respect this. If he's difficult about it, step back (= get out of the stress & conflict he's creating) and breathe.
Easier said than done, I know, but letting someone force you in a situation (whatever that may be) is not right.

This is difficult for me to interpret especially the "Dare to take a step back -in trust"
This relationship is involving all of my patience as everything seems to be out of my control. I do not like to be pushed to make decisions & feel everything is moving to fast.
