I think right now in these times, being "Laid-OFf" or out of work is a more common and somewhat more acceptable situation to be in. Cant see why it would interfere with your dating ambitions. Although, if you say it does, I would be willing to accept that statement.

I was in Barnes and Noble just the other day. Ive been contemplating learning a new lang. While waiting in line to pay for my latest Paparback I noticed the Rossetta Stone Language Display behind the counter. Just out of curosity I asked for pricing. I was really interested to know.
The Lady Picks up a learn German box and says to me "418". My mind was racing I was thinking wow 4.18,, then I thot impossible, only thing it could be is $418.00". She must have read my mind because she then picked up a few more that were only like half that price. I said, "thank you very much" im only shopping them right now. I looked at the two people immeadiately behind me and they were shaking their heads as well. I think I will look for a less expensive alternative. Oh, I only speak English at the moment. But can get by with a little Spanish in a pinch. It doesnt seem to come out unless i really need it. |

I was fifteen, on vacation with my MoM and DaD,tooling up Highway 1, here in SoCal,somewheres above Santa Barbara. IT was kind of kewl driving along the scenic highway in that big Cadillac. circa 1969. |
