I have a child to raise. I am in control of his life as well as mine at this point. I make the most of what I have and live day to day. I do not think about what the future holds, just what we need at this moment in time. the road becomes very clear when you have a child and that is to raise the best way you can!

I can exert more control of matters than I usually do, but that is my choice. Having chosen this path, this adventure, and come just this far, I am cautious about committime to change too much too drastically or quickly. so you are pretty much in that comfort zone?

hehehehehehe I get lost easily...even with the map gps and a competent passenger... now you see why men dont ask for directions, we know you are lost also!  
but I like getting lost I find things I never knew were there which is good..and fun 
the same when I am driving...I get to see a new place!

It's pretty much going forward. and.....changes to what? are you positive it is going forward?
Mostly. But as with most things in life....there are ups and downs. My outlook on my own life does tend to flux a tad...but in general....I'm happy.

Yes, and yes...makes it far easier to stay on goals at hand, without the constant bother of whether I am doing something right or wrong. how do they bother you? you mean by always nagging?

If there's anything I've ever learned about life, it's that no one's in control of anything. You might THINK you do, but there are too many variables present that can put a monkey wrench in your plans. I am sure we can prepare for some vaiables and how we can deal with them.

We are all in control even when we say we aren't. It's not an option, even if you choose not to make a choice. It's still your choice for choosing not to make it. but is it not "not making a choice" kind of an easy way out?

Yes. As long as you leave enough slack in your goals to vary course according to the world around you. Being single ain't the best situation but it helps to fulfill your goals if you dont worry about someone elses too. Although one old girlfriend long ago helped me to define mine better and get a start...so I guess it could go both ways.
