going into it with the attitude that they are fake and will lie is a for sure way to destroy any chance of something real. each person deserves a clean slate, not to be compared to the past, or doubted because of other's actions. having said that, at the same time, you can't trust just anyone. you give a little to start and they have to earn the rest and keep it. remember.. actions speak louder than words.

I'd actually prefer the ring to be cz not a diamond, first off I'm not a fan of spending an incredible amount of money on piece of jewelry, second.. if something where to happen to it I'd feel like crap.. third.. there are many more important things that we could use the money towards.
