 Are you looking for love?

 Would you know it if you found it?

Looking for Love is like looking for 4-Leaf clovers.... you usually stumble upon it.

Lets see, I have a small list... but the good things about having a mate, in my book, far outweigh this list.

- Less Laundry
- I control the remote
- I control the thermostat
- No one nagging or controlling me
- Don't have to cook if I don't want to some days
- Lower grocery and BEER expense.
- Bathroom stays clean longer.
- I know where my keys and the remote are.
- My dishpan hasn't been used for an oil change.
- I can find the kitchen whisk in the utensil
drawer, not in the garage with paint or cement
on it.
- The food processor or blender haven't been
used to make chum for fishing (actually I have
a separate one exclusive for that purpose).
- The bathroom and kitchen scissors stay sharp
and no longer disappear.

I list all of these with a warm smile as I've grown to appreciate the subtle trademarks of men. In recent years, these little nuisance issues had become little reminders that my man was home ... and I was glad. (I've also learned to keep a fresh dishpan, whisk, funnel, strainer, blender, or whatever in the kitchen and pass the worn or weathered ones to my man for the garage use.)

And now that I am single, I rather miss these telltale reminders that there is a man nearby.

This guy walks into his house with a duck under his arm and says, "This is the pig I've been phuquing". His wife responds, "But that's a duck"... to which he replies, "I was talking to the duck"!!

I read the forums and sometimes participate by posting my thoughts and comments.

Sometimes I may like or not like what someone posted, or I'm not sure if they are male or female, single or taken, etc. Or I'm just plain curious... besides I'd like to know if they are close enough by location to even be approachable.

I figure if a guy views my profile, something sparked his curiosity. Some people may even think you are someone they once knew or whatever.

It's no different than doing a double take when you see someone familiar looking, or attractive, or questionable on the street... we are curious and social creatures... so if given the chance to find out more... we have the option of looking.

Works for me anyway.

bigsmile What is "over the line" when flirting with others online?bigsmile

Mirror,,
You gotta have a line. How else would you know where to cross it?
To dare or, not to dare....hmmmmmmmm?

If done in a clever, subtle sort of way some may find it enticing, tantalizing, and even fun.

As long as I'm single, I'm going to flirt... gotta send signals out there. And I'm going to have fun doing it. Life's too short.
I need to adopt more of your attitude.

You go girl!!!

I'm rather cautious about it unless, someone catch's my mind.

What if the guy reals you in for Months like a fish...then hits you with big emotional problems...ie he is a widow with 2 young kids...then hits you for huge sums of money...how about $300,000? there is one of these men on-line right now, and It aint me

Sounds like a predator or scammer, I'd report him to the mediators.

I would say that "over the line" is when you go beyond someone's comfort zone. When your actions make another uncomfortable.

Had a great time... we clicked like magic... was so nice... we'll see how it goes....

Just wanted to offer some words of encouragement to my fellow Minglers.

Wishes do come true, Dorothy!!!!

LOL bigsmile

OMG, Horsegirl... you and I would be great buddies if we lived closer together. I've always compared certain happy times in my life to Snoopy's Happy Dance... Wow, you hit it right on!!

smitten What are some things you do with your significant other that aren't overly expensive and lots of fun?smitten

The following Ideas depend upon where you live and the weather at the time:

- Play badminton on the beach or a park.
- Play frisbee in a park or Fly a Kite.
- Push her on a swing, or swing side by side
and see who can go the highest.
- Then have a picnic.
- Go fishing - take a picnic lunch
- Rent a canoe and paddle down the river
- Build a snowman or snowfort together
- Each builds a snow statue of the other
- Make snow Angels and then have a snowball fight
- Fill super soakers with koolaid or juice,
soda, whatever, then go inside and lick it off
each other.
- Sit on a lake, river or canal bank and skip
stones.
- Go for a walk and look for pretty stones or
4 Leaf Clovers
- Give each other a massage, then take a bath
together.
- Cook something together in the kitchen
- Invite friends and/or family for a potluck BBQ
- Feed the birds (use stale bread or crackers
Do not use popcorn)
- Get an astrology map, a flashlight and a blanket
Lie on the blanket together and try to identify
the constellations (star formations)
- Lie on a blanket in the park and talk about what
the clouds are shaped like
- Play board games, build a jigsaw puzzle together
- Write messages with your fingertips on each
other's back and try to guess what the other
is writing
- Get some finger paints and an old sheet and
create a masterpiece together without using
your hands. (Anything but your hands) Each of
you can use a different color(s) than the other
then sign and date your work together
- Go through each other's family photo album
together
- Play strip poker, or favor poker (loser does a
special favor for the winner of the hand)
- Have a water balloon fight
- Write 3x5 cards with things you like about
each other... alternating turns to read them
one by one to each other. (How do I love thee?)

Those should keep you busy until I can think of some more.

The whole point is to take time getting to know each other more deeply, more intimately. by touching each other and being creative or imaginative together. Some may seem corny, but they are fun times and create some treasured memories.

Have fun and enjoy each other.

I'm in a hotel because of work.

Why are the rest of you on a forum instead of being out on a date, or at a movie, or dancing, or whatever.

(if I weren't in a hotel working I'd be at home organizing my sock drawer)

Is that your head under that sheet in your pic.... or are you just happy to see us hot ladies? rofl
