My dear, there are so many variables to consider when answering that
question. Like, what was the nature of the break-up.....how tight are
you with this friend.....etc. But, never say never.

My ex-husband walked out of my daughter's life when she was 4 years old.
she hasn't seen him or spoken to him since. so, having been there and
done that, the most imortant advice i can give is to be honest. but,
keep in mind that at your son's age, he may not grasp the entire
situation. i agree that positive male role models are important. i
don't know where we would be with out my father. is there a grandfather
in your son's life? or even an uncle or close family friend.
explaining different family dynamics is tough with a 2 1/2 year old.
but, keep in mind that uncomditional love goed a long way. stay strong
and stay positive.

well, kojak, i think you hit the nail on the head. the sharing is what
i miss. the little intimate things that you share with your partner an
your partner only

I'm surprised the number is as low as 11%. With everything happening in
the world today and all of the wars being fought over religion, it is
hard to maintain a faith in a supreme being. I say if you want to find
"God", take a long walk in the woods. I've never been able to find Him
in the words of men being preached in a building built by men from a
book written by men. But, being surrounded by the harmony and
simplicity of nature makes me a believer. Perhaps not in a Christian
God.....but, belief none the less.
