It is a link in a long cycle of abuse. It can happen very subtly. These men follow a pattern of sorts and the women are usually kind gentle soft-hearted ladies who have a tendency to believe they deserve that treatment or that the men really are sorry and it won't happen again. They are usually isolated in some way that makes them depending on their abuser. Prayers for them all <3

There is unconditional love..I think it is just the time in life where instead of fixing something we throw it out and get something new. It applies to appliances and marriages.

I do get a bit fed up of people interested yet cannot take a few minutes to first read your profile. I stopped looking at photos...they blur together ..i just look at their catch line or username and if that is something I find interesting i delve deeper. One dating site i used..to find my hubby used a questionaire ..that you made up yourself ..and you decided what answer was correct. Then when people saw your profile and did your questionaire ..the results were sent to you. It was an interesting way to do it...and it worked... lol sort of...sigh

I don't think we should forget any loves in our lives ..they all hold a message of some value.

I don't think romance is dead but in this world of technology we seem to be losing the touch of humanity and kindness to each other.

Prayers going up for your loss and family. I think it is more common than you imagine. My ex husband:s younger brother killed himself. It was a huge shock for us all. I think the only comfort I have is that his pain is over. Pain is pain and real regardless of mental or physical pain. I will light a candle for all in a similar situation. Peace and love
